How do I work twice as Kenmore undersink water filter?
I moved to a house with a Kenmore double undersink water filter installed. When I turned in this little red light blinking and my sister told me that the water tasted funny. We asked the plumber about it, but I had no idea. I looked again and found it runs on batteries, so I changed it out. Now when you turn it on, it flashes a green light, but the water still tastes funny. Do I have to do something else with it?
Change the filter. Turn off water supply to filter water pressure release, loosen up and pull the filter. Sometimes the entire unit should be removed from the cabinet to remove the filter. Take the old filter and model number with you to Walmart, Kmart, Lowes or Home Depot, and they and arrange a new one
