Bearded Dragon water.?
Im getting a bearded dragon soon, on the warm side of the terrarium I have a big heat lamp, and the cold side I have a smaller heat lamp in the hot side also I have a piece of slate rock, basking in, and I have a cold side many plants including some lettus, and a waterfall made for a small aquarium filter (filter brand new, never used before) I take the filter system so no does nothing for the water, but the waterfall, I want him to be able to drink the water in the pond, so he asked me, do not drink tap water treated with chlorine regular or do i need to do something to tap water before giving it to him? Ok new question, is there any way to prevent humitity and keep my waterfall?
I like the idea of a waterfall, but these are not dragons, bearded dragon water. I do not mean to sound sarcastic, but in the wild back in Australia, custom Beardie really find many waterfalls! A normal water dish will be fine. However Beardie not usually drink from a container, unless the trains, which can be done. They absorb water through your skin to stay hydrated, so once or twice a week to give your dragon a small bathroom, warm, so you can swim and absorb water (this also helps with shedding). If the water dripping onto the muzzle Beardie, will drip on his mouth and he instinctively where to drink. In response to your first question, chlorinated water should be fine, will not hurt them. You can also sprinkle the salad with water, so that when you eat, take in water as well. But remember not to let your tank too wet, this can cause fungal infections of the wetlands-unpleasant.
