My Hotpoint Aqualtis' fabric softener dispenser drawer doesn't drain the excess water away! Help!!?
I bought a brand new Hotpoint Aqualtis Washing Machine last week, (model number AQ9L29I/V, for those who can help!), and although it is washing perfectly fine, the fabric softener is being rinsed into the washing machine, but leaving just about the same amount of water behind at the end of the wash (in the same compartment). I know there is nothing blocked, as it is new. It is actually that bad that after every wash, I have to remove the drawer and empty and rinse the dispenser myself.
On a different note, when the machine empties itself of water at differing stages of the was cycle, it makes a terrible gurgling sound up through the sink next to it. My old Hotpoint didn't do this, and we've had no different plumbing since the new machine.
Is there something wrong with the machine? I thought I'd ask advice before I get an engineer out to have a look at it.

there isn't a problem with the machine it may be empting quicker than your old one thats all and water left in the dispenser just add a little more and it should empty
