Will u get water while the pump is not working? I have low water pressure at this point that seems to get worse
I have a submersible pump in a little hole deep. the house has been here for 50 years. I have a reverse osmosis system connected and a water storage tank pressurizrd. There is also an ultraviolet light. This problem gets really bad when I run the washer. I little or no water. when you turn increases the pressure washer back up a receipt some pressure at the taps. To the open the taps of the pressure decreases. If I open the faucet under the pressure tank to the main line seems to have a good flow. I can not hear the pump running or know what I'm listening. "I can hear a submersible pump. I checked the breaker box all circuits are on.
I have a similar water system, maybe I'll be able to help. You can not have a problem so much as a question of filtering. 1. Bypass your filter / treatment system. If you can run your water directly well to a tap, the test pressure without treatment system in place, try to fill a 5 gallon bucket. (Since you have a UV system in place, is supposed to bacteria in the water so be sure not to use it - and once ready, let the water run for a while to clear the line) 2. If your pressure is good (I bet to be), clean up your primary filter. Look for the first filter in your system and washing / rinsing. Many systems use a loose sediment filter is little more than a cup with some kind of screen through which water flows, sediment does not. Turn off the water system in the fuse box, open a faucet to relieve water pressure, and then unscrew the filter. Clean the bucket. Be sure to clean the first filter only in this way b / c they do not want to contaminate their possible R / output filter. 3. Put everything back together and then run the water for a time, particularly in the spigot that tested untreated water. Best of luck.
