I have 2 goldfish in a 29 gallon my ph is 7.6 right now, but just 4 days ago was 6.4. My ph fell eversince I did a water change only reverse osmosis water. Since then no matter how much water i the change in tap water, the pH would remain at 6.4 until i used baking soda 4 days. Tap water: pH 8.0 hardness: 75-100 ammonia: 0 nitrite: 0 nitrate: 20 What I can do to keep my pH buffer strong. And do not be unstable

You are really right to do this. If the PH that has remained stable is falling, something that is happening in that tank. Suspect, from Goldfish are heavy waste producers, there is some waste material in the substrate hidden somewhere that is breaking into carbonic and nitric acids and eating your strength away. For your hardness is a safe and effective for your PH to change. It will do as you said, keep it stable and move it slowly. Try African Rift Lake Seachem buffer salts or Max by API. Do not be fooled by the appearance of Africa. Still raise your magnesium and calcium and fish should benefit.
