Central heating programmable timer?
I changed the programmer the other weekend. The old timer was a Randell, big round dial 24 hours, 4 markers (A, B, C and D). and a dial on the part that says "off to A", then "until B" type of thing. The main switch side had 3 options. Medium was switched off, UP was central heating and water, DOWN was only water. The new digital timer that I had a switch installed had to establish in the back when installed, you could choose between "central heating and hot water" and "central heating and water w hot. "Now I assumed that my system would be necessary to establish for the first time that was what it was before, but now I've installed it, if I had to put in "w centrla heating / hot water or" what this system worked or not? Hi Garfield. I know I've installed correctly the extent that when the heating It is in the heating and hot water and when the water is only heating water only. My question is though, if I set the timer to do just heating (without water) - will it work?
