Aid Water Filter
My cichled fish tank water is extremely foggy?
but here's the thing
it's been like this for 2 weeks, it looks like there is a big, hazy cloud
i did a gravel vacuum and water change, it is not in the sunlight, i don't keep the light on for that long per day, and i don't overfeed them at all --- also i bought filter aid which is supposed to group up the microscopic particles causing the blurriness but it did nothing .. i also went to the store with my filter, and they said it wasn't the filter (i even got new carbon and a new pad with smaller pores)
what the hell could it be?? this sucks because my tank was fine up until these strange events occurred -- i am willing to empty out the gravel and water and buy a new filter, and start over again, but could it be something like the glass or the light? Regardless, I'd rather someone here give me a good solution so i don't have to start again from scratch

OMG it looks like pond water. It looks like you have a lot of algae growth as well. How long have you had your tank? What does your filter look like? I would try using an external power filter, they're are pretty cheap and ive never had any problems with them. Ive got information on different filter types posted in the source area. I would try changing the water halfway, adding conditioner and using a new filter if you think something may be wrong with the current filter that you have. If that is algae on the glass (i cant tell if its on the glass or free floating in the water) i would buy one of a Siamese Algae Eater (Crossocheilus siamensis).
