We just bought a Bissell Power Steamer Turbo a couple weeks ago--it's the one with 4 rows of brushes.
Here's my review: If you're used to renting Rug Doctors to clean your carpets, you'll be disappointed in it. I found it wasn't as good at getting out the stains and didn't seem like it cleaned as well. But, Rug Doctors sell for $500-$600--The Bissell was around $150. So, for the price, I've been pretty impressed. It's very easy to operate, almost as easy as vacuuming. I love that you fill the same container you empty (it has a plastic bladder inside). That makes it so convenient. Overall, if you can afford something of higher quality than the Bissell, I think you should. If that's about you're price range, I think it's pretty good for the price.
