Wet or dry food?
I'm not talking about adding water to dry food, I'm talking about, real wet dog food. I bought a little wet food today because my dog is not really eating the dry food for good. I'm thinking of mixing wet food and dry food, and little by little Weening eating the wet food. Is this correct? Pros and cons? If makes no difference, is a week old pomernaian 16. Thanks! Add: I have another question. How much do you think my puppy will weigh fully grown? He is 16 weeks and weight 2-2.5 pounds.
Definitely Yes I think you're doing something right. Dry food is good because: 1. Better dental health because it is less likely to stick and stain teeth. 2. Easy to carry and use in training and management. 3. Easy material in food toys. 4. Balanced nutrition for your dog. 5. Good fiber resulting in more regular bowel movements. 6. Significantly cheaper than canned foods. Some problems with dry food: 1. Do not know so good wet food for the dog. (But it's doing what correct in dealing with this.) 2. It can cause the dog to be thirsty. So be sure to enter a lot of water. You may not want to feed your dog too much food dry at night before going to bed, so you do not need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
