If a person wants to fly from japan to USA, will he fly from japan over china india or go east to reach soon.?
If a person wants to travel from Japan to Los Angeles (USA) , will the plane run over from east to west (long route over india, london etc to reach los angeles) or will the plane fly from Japan end and proceed eastwards to meet USA (if the earth is round) as it would be of a short distance.. Do aeroplanes travel bothways... coz that would prove that the earth is round.
Umm, we don't need to prove that the earth is "round" (it's actually more of a spheriod, slightly oval shaped). That was done a long time ago.
If you are flying from Japan to LA, the short trip is to fly east. You can do it on a single airplane, the flight time is 8-9 hours.
If you fly west, you can't really do it on a single trip. You'll have to stop to refeul several times, and the trip will take you much much longer.
