What is the best iron I can buy?
I just returned from a Black and Decker ... was a sun .... and Proctor Silex ..... I just got a shark Euro-Pro 1700 watt steam iron BJ's-about $ 60 and reads like 100 comments wrong with him when I got home. I am seriously sick of buying irons and other time! What is the best in performance and durability? Please help!
According to Consumer Reports (an I'm very confident), the best iron is Rowenta Generator DG980 Expert Steam. But it is priced over $ 200. The best values are Black & Decker Digital Advantage D2030 ($ 50), Hamilton Beach Professional 14,970 ($ 45) and Sunbeam Professional 4238 ($ 50). Based on their comments, I bought the B & D D2030 and have been happy. By the way - there are 100 online from the bad reviews, even for good products, do not let you down too.
