Ditch the vacuum and use an adhesive lint roller it will get 100% of the hair off the furniture. vacuums are needless cause the smaller ones have less power cause they are cordless and dont extract most of the hair cause the hair may stick more to the furniture depending on the fabric. its more work with the roller but much more effective and cleaning the vacuum with all the hair can be difficult at times
