Cleaning Vacuum Hepa Filters

I just got this vacuum yesterday. Was using it on an old house that hasn't been cleaned in AGES. Today I noticed the self-cleaning HEPA filter doesn't turn anymore. I cleared out a blockage but it still doesn't turn.
How much is this going to cost to fix. Will this type of repair fall under warranty?
It did a fantastic job, but maybe I asked too much of it?
If you just bought it yesterday...I personally would pack it back up in the box....take it back to the store with the receipt and tell them it quit working. Return it for one that works longer than this one. I have cleaned some places that were disasters and the vacuum still worked after-wards. A return policy should cover something like this for more than 24 hours.
