What is the BEST vacuum cleaner for an allergy sufferer?
My finacee put me in charge of finding a vacuum that we will register for at Macy's or target. I have terrible allergies (HEPA filter a must) and want the best vacuum possible that will not add to my suffering. We have a spending limit of $400. Please feel free to give model numbers as well as brands. Anyone answering this is a life saver so thanks!

I have had my Dyson 1-1/2 years; model "the animal." Purchased as an open box item (www.overstock.com) and I saved alot of $. (They run great deals on shipping too.) It has the filter, comes with an extra, and the clear dirt cup. It totally cleans and the air smells fresher having run it.
