Cleaning the HEPA air purifier??
I just bought a Honeywell air purifier off craigslist.com. It works well, but follows subtle smell of the house where it was purchased. It bothers me! The online ads for the air purifier say they do not replace the filters, but simply washing. How I can do? Just run under water?
Run the HEPA filter with hot tap water and allow to dry preferably where I can breathe both air sides of the filter, do not dry in the sun that can damage the filter, is best in a warm room, can be dried in a dishdrainer if possible so the air gets both sides and dries quickly without the promotion of mold Good luck!
