Here is a list of things I do when servicing a vacuum.
· Vacuums are completely disassembled.
· All plastic, rubber and foam parts are washed and disinfected.
· Motor and fan is toughly cleaned.
· Motor armature and wiring is checked.
· Motor bearings are checked and lubricated when needed.
· Motor carbon brushes are checked and replaced when needed.
· Motors that do not pass inspection are replaced.
· Wiring, switches and fuses are checked and replaced when needed.
· Filters are clean and/or replaced.
· Roller brush is cleaned or replaced when needed.
· Roller brush bearings are lubricated or replaced when needed.
· Light bulbs are replaced when needed.
· Vacuum is reassembled.
· A new bag is installed on models that use bags.
· Filters are cleaned and/or replaced on Bagless models.
· Vacuum is tested to verify that it is working properly.
· All vacuums are tested again prior to shipping.
