WOW!!! $0.01 STARTING BID, NO RESERVE!! iRobot Roomba 560 vacuum cleaning robot FOR PARTS OR REPAIR. This auction includes the iRobot Roomba 560, original box with charging base, power cord, spare filter, and two virtual wall units. I purchased the Roomba new, and it has only been used in a smoke-free/pet-free home. I have taken very good care of it, cleaned it after each use, and it still looks like new. In fact, each time it was used, I sat back on the sofa and watched it zip around, so it was never "unsupervised". I never used the virtual wall transmitters, so they are still in the plastic wrapping. It is truly amazing, a lot of fun to watch, and hands-down the best cleaning device I have ever purchased. It zips around the living room, under the sofa, and in areas that you don't normally clean with a regular vacuum. It's programable, and can be set up on a cleaning schedule, but I've never done it since I like watching the thing clean. They tell you to vacuum your living space the best that you can with a regular vacuum cleaner first, and after you think you've gotten everything vacuumed, let the Roomba do it's thing. The proof was in the pudding.. I was shocked at how much stuff was in the Roomba cleaning bin! It filled up three times before the room was free of dust and dirt. Best of all, it found my missing Rolex watch winder that popped out of my watch and was missing for two years! I opened the cleaning bin on the Roomba and there it was!! Either I am just too lazy to use a regular vacuum as thoroughly as it should be used, or the Roomba is the answer to vacuuming. ***** NOW FOR THE BAD PART: Yesterday, my girlfriend came running into the kitchen in tears..screaming "The roomba isn't working!!!!....Whatever happened, I didn't do it, it just won't work...I pressed the button and nothing!!! Please tell me you can fix it...(tears still flowing, blubbering, screaming....blahh, blahh, blahh). I went in an looked at the Roomba sitting there in it's corner so lifeless...It felt like I was looking at an old family pet that won't get up out of it's bed and you fear it's "the end". I shrugged my shoulders and stoically said, "I dunno"... So, within 15 minutes of the "attack of the frantic girlfriend", consoling, and assuring her it's not the end of life as we know it,,,,, off to Best Buy I go to buy a new Roomba...Something, ANYTHING to get the noise to stop.. As I'm listening to her, I felt like the Grinch when he was thinking of the Whos down in Whoville with all the noise, noise, noise... Off I go (in fact, I could still hear her blubbering in my mind as I'm driving). 45 minutes later, up the driveway I come, $400 short and a new Roomba in my hands. Girlfriend smiling, all is good, I'm the hero. SO, my trusty, faithful Roomba needs a new home and a little love. I have no idea what's wrong with it.. Battery?? Charger?? Something stupid and simple that Clark Griswold could figure out but I can't, I dunno.. The little green "CLEAN" button on top does not light up, and nothing happens when you press it. If you haven't figured it out yet, it's people like me that keep the lights on at Best Buy. It's stupid how much money I spend there...stupid... Maybe you are the type of person who has the patience to figure out this type of stuff with the Roomba, and I trust that if you are reading this text, you certainly are. Christmas is coming, and hopefully the Roomba will be back to life, zipping around under your tree picking up pine needles!!! TERMS OF AUCTION: Item sold AS-IS, as pictured.
