Honeywell QuietCare 17005 HEPA Air Purifier
This unit is in fine, used, working condition...We popped a couple AAA batteries in the remote, and everything works grand...Comes without the directions, but a 17005 manual is available online...The filter looks used but not "whooped" (see photo). There are some scuffs (see photo) on the sides and lower front of the unit, but it's superficial and does not effect performance...There was some white dust on the black outer ring filter ring, but we shook it out and turned in upside down, and now it looks almost new...Don't know how long these filters last, but vacuuming them twice a year is the standard. Filters are of course available from the Hepa website and Home Depot, etc, where a new 17005 sell in the $100-plus range...Comes without the factory box...
