The eSpring Water Purifier improves the taste, odor, and clarity of 1320 gallons of water - enough for a family of 6 to cook with and drink for 1 year, before replacing the filter cartridge. The system provides fresh, clean water at approx. 1 gallon / minute.
eSpring uses a patented 3 stage activated carbon-block filtering system that effectively removes more than 140 potential health-effect contaminants that may be in tap water. The filter does allow beneficial minerals like calcium, and magnesium to pass through.
The water passes through the carbon-block to a central core where it is hit with Ultraviolet (UV) light, which is an effective way to treat water without chemicals.
You will see the eSpring has an electronic monitoring system using "smart chips" to keep track of the UV bulb and Filter life, telling you both audibly and visually when they need to be replaced.
The counter top unit comes with adaptors to fit your sink's faucet. It screws on easily and has a pull pin to direct the water flow for purified use or regular use! This unit is fully functioning, but needs a new replacement filter. The cord is slightly discolored, but that doesn't affect functionality of the unit. I believe it is the eSpring 100185, based upon the descriptions of that model.
