Ionic Filter Cleaner
Does anyone have experiences with Air Purifiers for the home? I am looking for people who have them.?
I am especially interested in people who have tried ones like Ionic breeze from Sharper Image, Oreck, Ionic Pro, etc. Also I am interested in people who have used HEPA type filters, I have allergies which seem to be getting worse as I get older and would like to have clean air in my home.

Well in my own experience I would avoide anything from Oreck. I bought two of them and they barely made a dent in the house. Don't believe everything you see in an infomerical.
Also from reading consumer reports and seeing various articles on them, I would also avoide the Ionic Pro.
From what I have read it may cost more, but you are still better off going with a high quality HEPA machine. Sure they cost more, buy you get the the results you deserve.
