Best foam dart gun for dorm room warfare?
I'm looking to find a nerf gun to keep my roommate at bay. He has recently purchased the buzz bee automatic tommy 20 and the nerf vulcan auto thing.
I was very unimpressed by the pricey vulcan which doesn't shoot very far but does have a quick rate of fire.
i'm looking for a gun that shoots really far and has at least some kind of semi auto setting and is easily mobile. I don't want to mod a gun just stock.
I have been looking at the Nerf N-Strike Magstrike AS-10 but I'm not sure if it will give me the power I want behind it.
So any suggestions would be awsome. And if it comes down to it, if there are any mods that could make the Nerf N-Strike Magstrike AS-10 shoot really far I would be open to suggestions. (Maybe a bigger air tank thing?)

Ok, the AS-10 is a good gun, but it's also pump powered so it's intended for preemptive strikes, not defending. you also empty your clip too fast to do anything but cluster fire or pray and spray.
Personally i'd recommend a pair of nerf mavericks. they are only 6 shots each but you can get them off in quick succession. this is also a good gun for a college student since it's only about $10 a gun.
if you want something with quicker reload than the revolver check out the recon. it only comes with a single clip though so you'll have to make an investment in some clips and a pack of streamline darts. a word of warning, the clips only fire streamline darts.
as to semi-auto check out the Raider, it's got a 35 shot capacity with slam fire. that is you hold the trigger and move the front stock to fire. I've not used this one yet, but it is supposed to be good.
